Well this page took longer than usual. Most because things kept distracting me. Like website hackers *growls*. Also, not a good page to look at reference for, saw some disturbing images researching into derailed trains 🙁
I am trying to spend longer on each page too now, trying harder to improve on the backgrounds as well as the characters, hope it shows!

The extra time does show! I mean it’s always looked great but you’ve really nailed the lighting on the characters here – Cara looks especially awesome.

The artwork is looking excellent, as usual, Tasha. Some great expressions in this one. It’s interesting the way Ed is nearly mirroring Cara in the second panel, yet the emotions conveyed are quite different. Cara seems a lot more hard-bitten than Ed. I hope we get a chance to learn more about who she is and what makes her tick.

Ahh it’s wonderful to see you’re looking at the little details! I hope I do a good job with making these characters interesting and successful for everyone! I am just loving this story so much, I would love to work full time on it and actually make it awesome for you all 🙂

I can only imagine. There was a high-speed train derailment on the news the summer I studied abroad in Spain. Very sad. 🙁
