There’s a loud knock at the door, CARA’s eyes shoot open, she looks startled

WIDE - Cara is sitting up looking worried at door, ED is looking over to her

Dinner’s ready!

Cara looks so young when her face relaxes. It makes me feel even sorrier for her situation.
I’ll bet the adrenaline jolt she got from the rap on the door near to stopped her heart. Of course it’ll all be Ed’s fault…… 🙂

Yea I really wanted to hint towards another side of Cara here, she finally starts to let her guard down but becomes annoyed and remembers she’s meant to be an angry hard-nut XD
Isn’t that the way it always is? The second you’re falling asleep… then bam!
Well it’s the end of the world! Gotta keep you on your toes!
I suppose in a world like hers you learn to have an adrenal reaction to loud noises, or maybe even quiet ones when you’re sleeping.
You never know who/what’s coming to get you.
That’s probably why she’s got so stabby over the years…
